As a Graphic Designer at Abbott Lyon, you’ll be a key creative contributor, supporting the development of premium, engaging digital content that brings our brand to life across all touchpoints. Reporting to the Digital Design Manager, you’ll work closely with the wider creative, marketing, and eCommerce teams to craft beautiful, high-performing assets that support both brand storytelling and commercial objectives. Key Responsibilities
Creative Execution & Design
- Create high-quality digital assets including website banners, emails, social media graphics, paid media ads, and influencer-led content.
- Ensure all designs align with the Abbott Lyon brand identity and digital design guidelines, maintaining a premium and cohesive aesthetic.
- Translate creative briefs into compelling visuals that engage our audience and drive action.
- Contribute to campaign rollouts, working closely with the Digital Design Manager to deliver consistent assets across all digital channels.
- Apply best practices in typography, layout, colour, and motion to produce work that feels innovative, modern, and on-brand.
Collaboration & Workflow
- Work cross-functionally with teams including marketing, eCommerce, paid and owned social to gather input, understand goals, and deliver impactful creative solutions.
- Respond efficiently to briefs and feedback, managing your time effectively across multiple projects and priorities.
- Collaborate closely with the Digital Design Manager and other creatives to uphold high standards and ensure smooth design workflows.
Continuous Improvement
- Stay up to date with digital design trends, social platform updates, and industry innovations.
- Proactively contribute ideas that push our creative boundaries and evolve our digital presence.
- Participate in creative reviews and feedback sessions to refine your work and grow as a designer.
Qualifications & Experience
- 2+ years’ experience in a digital design or graphic design role, ideally within fashion, lifestyle, beauty, or DTC sectors.
- A strong portfolio showcasing digital-first design, including social media, web, email, and motion graphics.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); working knowledge of After Effects and Figma.
- Solid understanding of UI/UX basics, responsive design, and mobile-first thinking.
- Strong visual storytelling skills and a good eye for detail, layout, and typography.
- Ability to work at pace, adapt quickly to feedback, and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Experience designing for paid digital advertising (Meta, Google, TikTok, etc.).
- Motion graphics skills (After Effects or similar) to bring content to life.
- Familiarity with working in brand-led environments and supporting wider campaign concepts.
- Experience using project management tools (e.g., Asana).
